Enroll now for a fun and engaging day of training to learn more about Zendesk functionality that will further optimise your support team efficiency! The morning sessions are designed for people who are just starting or are fairly new to Zendesk. After lunch we’ll be talking about support in a more general sense and then we’ll get into some of the more advanced features.

8:45 am - 9:00 am: Check-in

9:00 am - 12:45 pm: Class is in session (15 min break at 10:30am)

  • Agents and End-User Interfaces: High-level view of the platform
  • Anatomy of a Ticket: From creation to resolution
  • Break: Coffee and snacks
  • User Experience: Time zones, language, colors, logos, widgets, and multi-branding
  • Ticket Channels: Email, web portal, Twitter, chat, Facebook, feedback tabs, and a demo of Zendesk Voice


12:30 pm to 1:30 pm: Lunch with the professors & fellow students

1:30 pm - 4:30 pm: Class is back in session (15 min break at 2:40pm)

  • Improving Efficiency: Macros, views, tags, placeholders, and keyboard shortcuts
  • Building a Business Process: Custom fields, mandatory fields, triggers, and automations
  • Break: Coffee and snacks
  • Help Centre: Knowledge Base, Communities & managing content
  • Apps: How to install apps and an overview of some existing apps
  • Integrations: Overview of some integrations with other platforms
  • GoodData: High level view, default reports & dashboards; creating custom reports, charts, dashboards, embedding, and what to report on in Zendesk
  • Roadmap: What new features to look for in Zendesk over the next 6 months


4:30pm - 6:00pm: After class ends, we invite you to stick around for some snacks 'n beer with your classmates and trainers.

Your trainer for the day will be Peter Godden, a Customer Enablement Consultant for Zendesk, who has run many training sessions like these over the last 2 years. You’ll also have the opportunity to build your network and connect with other Zendeskians throughout the day.
